AMX was launched early 2001 to provide an international trading forum for Australia’s large macadamia industry. Sellers, buyers, and processors made use of this forum sealing deals across a global level.

During the current "off season" of the macadamia industry, AMX has decided to redevelop the site in conjunction with it’s primary member, the Australian Commodity Exchange (ACX), to provide an international commodity trading system for the Australian market.

This forum will focus on Australian commodities for buyers and sellers on an international level. AMX and ACX are both commited to the promotion of an Australian free trade market.
